Privacy
Your data & your privacy
This page explains how Maynooth Cycling Campaign collects, uses, protects and manages personal data. Last updated 27 June 2026.
Membership
When you join the campaign, we store your details (such as your name and contact details) in a secure members' list. We use this only to contact you about campaign activities and new posts on the website. Access to the members' list is restricted to a small number of authorised officers.
Trishaw ride bookings
When you request a Cycling Without Age trishaw ride, we collect your name and phone number (and email, if you give one) for the sole purpose of arranging and confirming your ride. A volunteer coordinator uses these details to contact you and match you with a trained pilot. We do not store this information in any third-party database and we never share or sell it. Once your ride is arranged we keep only what's needed, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Volunteers
Where you volunteer with us, we may share your contact details with other volunteers so we can organise campaigns and events together.
Your rights
You can ask us, free of charge, for a copy of the personal data we hold about you — we'll respond within one month. You can also ask us to correct anything that's wrong, or to delete your details and unsubscribe. Just emailmaynoothcycling@gmail.com.
Sharing
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
Cookies & tracking
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't build profiles of visitors. Pages load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers to fetch them.
Questions about any of this? Emailmaynoothcycling@gmail.com — we're happy to help.
